Tooth Extractions

A tooth that is severely damaged may need to be removed. Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons. One reason could be the tooth has decayed so much that it cannot be restored. Extractions of impacted or problematic wisdom tooth, some permanent teeth to make space for orthodontic treatment, removal of teeth that are fractured could be some of the other reasons for such an action. After the tooth is removed, you may need couple of stitches and cotton gauze pad to help stop the bleeding.
